Not much to write about, as I am not in the writing mood. Lately. I don't know what's wrong. I asked in a journal for some prompts (located in this
entry), but apparently I write about so many random things that I don't need prompting. I want prompts.
So I saw Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day and I enjoyed it. It kind of made me miss London, as did Penelope, which was filmed there, but that is how it goes. Anyway, Lee Pace was in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day and he did a really good English accent. James McAvoy -- not so much with the American (he is decent though), but much better than that dude from Torchwood. Russell Brand was Russell Brand.
A friend took me to see Jon Brion at the Largo. That was pretty good. David Garza joined him as well at one point, as well as some dude called Sean (Shaun?) from Nickelcreek. I am not that familiar with Jon Brion's music, excluding the score to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, so I didn't know what to expect. I enjoyed his instrumentals at the beginning, but when he started singing I wasn't initially too keen on his voice, but I adjusted to it. However, he has people shout out random artists/songs and he picks one and will do his cover of it, with a different spin. It's really, really interesting -- his cover of "Creep" by Radiohead was rather awesome. Definitely an enjoyable night.
Also, I spent a day at my uncle's. He lives in Norco and asked if I wanted to search for rattlesnakes. Not really. I did see loads of roadrunners though! Meep meep.
I've done other stuff (and am starting to look into studying again), but yeah. I need to post more. And stuff.
