"Just bacon?" Piper asked, wandering over. Hey, there was talk of food. How could she not be curious?

"Bacon!" Bel said. With great enthusiasm.

"An important food group," Piper snickered, amused by the enthusiasm.

"You should make more things with bacon," Bel said solemnly. "Like bacon brownies."

They existed. He'd checked.

"Maybe bacon is my secret ingredient already." It wasn't.

"I'd totally know it if it was," Bel said. "I can sense bacon." Little known demon fact.

"Not just bacon, but bacon's in everything," Anders told her. "Wanna come with?"

Because it was bacon. It was the best thing ever.

Piper considered that and then shrugged. "Sure. It's bacon. How could I miss out on that?"

"Cool," Anders decided, then paused, eyeing her thoughtfully. "You're not gonna criticize the food, are you?"

"Are you kidding? I've gotten stuff from some of those trucks. I was a college student at one point," Piper smirked. "Also, there's a show about them on Food Network. That makes them legit to me."

"Rub it in for those of us who aren't done yet," Anders told her, rolling his eyes good-naturedly. "Besides, these gourmet trucks are the hot new trend."

It was kind of scary, actually. He was starting to wonder if maybe there were demons behind the whole thing.

"Okay, but no eating all the bacon," he finally conceded. Shut up, it was totally a legitimate concern.

"Alright, I guess I can leave a piece for you," Piper said, chuckling slightly. "Maybe I should be running a gourmet truck."

"I'll spam the Food Network with texts voting for you for the show, if you do," Anders suggested with a mischievous grin. "If you make it on, it'll get you out of my hair for a few weeks."

"An ulterior motive," Piper said, shaking her head. "I am shocked! I need to finish restaurant school first. And learn to drive a truck."

"I could drive the truck," Anders pointed out, "but it'd defeat the purpose of getting rid of you for a while."

He said it with love. Really. It was a special kind of love.

This was kind of a cool idea, though. "What'd be your food gimmick?"
