"Are you kidding? I've gotten stuff from some of those trucks. I was a college student at one point," Piper smirked. "Also, there's a show about them on Food Network. That makes them legit to me."
"Rub it in for those of us who aren't done yet," Anders told her, rolling his eyes good-naturedly. "Besides, these gourmet trucks are the hot new trend."
It was kind of scary, actually. He was starting to wonder if maybe there were demons behind the whole thing.
"Okay, but no eating all the bacon," he finally conceded. Shut up, it was totally a legitimate concern.
"I'll spam the Food Network with texts voting for you for the show, if you do," Anders suggested with a mischievous grin. "If you make it on, it'll get you out of my hair for a few weeks."
