Respect to Steve Davies
I'm sure that the majority of people on livejournal would not know who Steve Davies is, simply due to the fact that they have no interest in the lovely game of cricket.
Well, he is England's wicket keeper, and he recently came out to his team mates.
What makes this amazing is that he is the first ever male international cricketer to come out.
England is currently playing in the ICC Cricket World Cup, (and getting their asses kicked, which is totally beside the point). Any way, I hope that the other players, officials and spectators afford him the respect he deserves for being brave enough to step out.
Cricket is after all supposed to be a game played by gentlemen....
