death and dying of young people...
Today my sons best friends older brother died of Melanoma. He was in his 20's. I"m sure living in San Diego's hot sun was the cause - not sure about if he wore sunscreen or sun protective clothing...My son made a lovely card for his best friend and made a little present. I can't imagine the families grief. It must be overwhelming. My response would be to clutch onto the remaining and possibly cry for months. Today seems to be the day of death themes. My uncle emailed me about a memorial brick they were putting up for my dad. All the old sayings seem to be true: "Youth is wasted on the young", etc... I pray with all my might that my kids reach a ripe old age full of good health. I hope.
