Proof, you say? Well, how abut you find the broken tree in the middle of the campgrounds where I was in a fight at the time Nodoka was attacked? How about that proof? If you search quite readily, there's bound to be evidence of me there- a few hairs, some blood- maybe you should ask a boy named Hiroki about that fight. I'm sure he'll tell you all you need to know. And yes, I do expect people to believe me, because I am a man of my word and I wouldn't dare lay a finger on her.

Fine, don't forgive me. But tell me, would you rather face the guilt, knowing that you killed a man who actually is innocent, or face that your skewed version of the world isn't correct?
