I'm reading Parasite by Mira Grant and it's like she took stock
of her Newsflesh trilogy and said "Man, I wrote three books in a
world built around the existence of zombies, but never told an actual
zombie story. I really dropped the ball, but I can't write zombies
AGAIN, now can I?"
So instead of writing more zombies, she really, really effectively put
all the most terrifying parts of zombies into Parasite.
*weeps in quiet terror*
