re: The Time of the Doctor
(Mild spoilers behind the cut, obvs)
I loved all the emotional bits of Eleven's send-off, from the way there almost weren't any (going out in a blaze of violent humour would have been The Most Eleventy ending) but also loved that last scene, with the clothes everywhere, the fish fingers and custard, saying goodnight to the Raggedy Man, the removal of the bow tie.
As an effort to wrap up loose plot threads, it was absolutely dismal and convoluted and anything resembling a plot... well, I'm sure Moffat intended there to be one.
But as a goodby to Eleven (and hello to Capaldi), I'll take it.
