I love everything about this story, but especially the stellar characterizations. It's Steve Rogers breaking all of the rules for one the two reasons he would; loyalty. It highlights all of the glorious ways Steve is actually a terrible soldier and gives the rest of the Avengers really nice in-character moments too. (There's a scene where Natasha has to report in something unorthodox to Fury. It's a paragraph-long exchange and we only hear her side of it, but it's AMAZING. And Bruce is snarky!) I really love the chemistry between Steve and Winter Soldier/Bucky. You can believe and see why both characters are drawn to each other (and the sex scene is totally hot :D)

Maria & Natasha, some Maria/Steve, 28k, Teen
This story makes my heart glad. It's a great character study of both Black Widow and Maria, occasionally features a wildly entertaining Clint and an excellent Steve Rogers, and it explores a really beautifully complicated and ever-evolving relationship between Nat and Maria. Read it, it's great, you won't regret it.
