The title does all the summarizing work for me! This is really fun and to my mind, a really realistic portrait for both Clint and Natasha. Honesty's great, but I think they both understand how dangerous the truth can be. (Also, that it's fun to mess around with people.) With excellent cameos by Darcy, an endearing Bruce, and comedy!Thor.

An AU that asks what would have happened if Laufey, ruler of Jotunheim, had seized Thor after their defeat by the Asgard, rather than Odin's kidnapping of Loki. This is so gorgeous and really jumps into the world of the Ice Giants, poking into their culture and exploring how it clashes with that of Asgard. Most importantly of all, it's a story about brothers finding each other and sticking together, even if that may not have been Laufey's original intent. (With extra awesome Sif content, because SIF.)

Now, I wrote that tweet because I think that bossy, demanding, and filthy is incredibly hot and this story hits allllll of my id buttons, flowery writing or not. If that kind of Steve is your thing, take a gander. If not, you'll probably be happier scrolling on down.

This is ridiculously slow and sweet, without forgetting that this is a story from the point of view of Natasha Romanoff, who knows better than most that all things end. (The ending of the story draws on one of the comics canons and is so, so worth figuring out by reading the comments and by doing some follow-up research on the Marvel wiki.)
