At some point, I am going to have to make some Sherlock fic recs, because YES. I've spent a lot of the last week with my head buried in that canon and like one of the 'verses I read says: Yes Yes Yes.
In the meantime:
Gallifrey Doctor Who Con Cosplay EEEEEEEK :D From nearly a full dozen Amy Ponds in one place to Astrid to Barbara, to the most adorable Dalek I've ever seen. There's even a Frobisher. (For those of you who don't listen to the audios, simply put, this means that there's a penguin cosplay. Because this canon is that awesome.)
How to remove your google search history before the new privacy policy takes effect. Note that this won't stop Google from gathering and storing data for internal usage, but it does start to place restrictions on what they can do with it. Yes? YES.
This article about Target is exactly why I'd rather companies like Google didn't have my information. My "squick" threshold is lower than the average person's in any case. How Target figured out a teenage girl was pregnant before her father did.

Things are trundling along fairly well. The cognitive behavioural therapy is helping a lot, even while I still struggle with my anxiety. Noticing small changes, though. I can better identify what's running through my head and the thoughts that underly those ideas, am doing better at personal grooming, and with the meds reduction, I'm sleeping way less. Fantastic beyond words.
That said, I'm still avoiding my schoolwork like the pro that I am, so there's work to do yet :P
