Podficcer's Notes: This was record as a prize for hardboiledbaby for their GMT -11 Amplificathon 2011 Award! I'd been listening to the early Dresden Files audiobooks, which have a very noir detective feel and I leapt on the chance to do something similar. I loved playing with a style not my own and giving voice to these colourfully painted men from another era. Listen. Love.
For those unfamiliar with the fandom, here's the 101 you need to know: Nero Wolfe is a brilliant, but eclectic detective who rarely leaves his home. Saul and Archie are private investigators he works with; Archie is his right-hand man, who does all of the leg work, and Saul is an occasional contractee. The whole shebang is set between the two world wars.
