Wow... That's an interesting story... I'm glad that Martha knew what Ten had been doing - that the TARDIS told her, otherwise I would have felt uncomfortable at him going ahead. A bit too much like rape for my liking...

Yeah, I had it in my head that the TARDIS would definitely fill her in -- she is just too protective of Martha to do otherwise. Also, I worried about getting too hard on the Doctor in this -- he really doesn't mean any harm, he just a little confused and, well, broken some times.

Oh yes - I'm not down on Ten at all - it's quite clear where this is coming from - and you did a good job of building up to it, but I was sitting here, reading, thinking "Wake up Martha, wake up!"

And yes, I do think the TARDIS is protective of her people...

Anyway, I am so honored that you reviewed my work as I am such a fan of yours. :)

I especially loved that last paragraph..."Thank you" has a whole new meaning in the 3rd season now. ;)

That is what I had hoped, actually. It just hit me one day that the tone and timing of many of the Doctor's "Thank You's" to Martha in that season feel a bit like he wants to say more, so I have decided that it is my own personal canon that when he says "Thank You" he usually means "I Love You."

I think I have been watching "The Princess Bride" far too much! ;)

This was a very good story. This was great angst and a couple of times I was tearing up (especially when Ten broke down because of how bad he felt invading Martha's mind like that). Well done!
