Whereas I know that
keswindhover would offer me excellent working conditions if I were to become her PA, I do have to consider other options too!
International Baccalaureate, the company I'm currently working for in a temporary capacity, have spoken to me about applying for another job on top of the one I handed in an application form for last week. But what do I do?
A bit of background. IBO is an educational organisation. The International Baccalaurate Diploma programme is taken and recognised over most of the world. It is the equivalent standard of education as having four A levels at good grades, in the US it is the equivalent of a whole bunch of APs at a high grade. It is, in short, an educational environment and I am an educationalist. Really it is a perfect situation for me to work in.
Okay, to the crux of the matter. The job that has been suggested that I should apply for this week is as a PA, to the Financial Director. It comes complete with travel, trips to New York, Geneva, and London on a regular basis. But, and there has to be a but, if I were to take this job, as much as I'd enjoy the travel - and I would - it has a financial bias and not an educational one. Dilemma!
So help me decide by ticking a clicky box ...
