*yawn yawn*
What a day!
At half past one I looked at my appointment card to double check the time of my Consultant's appointment, which I knew was at 2pm. But it wasn't. It was at 2.30pm. 2.30pm last Tuesday. Whooops! Straight away I made an apologetic phone call, got through to the consultant (amazingly) straight away and did the consultation on the phone.
Then at 5.15pm I left for a series of meetings. 5.30pm - pupil disciplinary; 6pm - Governors' Annual Report to Parents; 7pm Governor training session on Staff Remodelling (and if anyone was still awake after that they deserved a medal). Then 8.15pm full Governing Body meeting - which finished at 10.10pm. Three quarters of an hour of that I withdrew, because I had an interest in the subject matter. Five bloody hours in school, unpaid volunteer work. It's too much.
I've got a headache now.

Oh, and the outcome of the consultant's non-appointment was that I take a 50% higher dose of my medication. I might be awake again by the end of the week! Perhaps?
