[Five ways Sokka protected Katara]
*
When they were younger, Katara was scared of the penguins that lived around the village. Sokka took great pride in staring them down while Katara smiled up at him in awe.
**
Sokka can see the way Katara is hurting over Jet. He doesn't rub it in her face that he knew the boy was bad news, he knows better. Sitting beside her in silence, he offers a shoulder to lean on.
***
Sokka knows Katara can take care of herself - if pressed he might even admit her water bending skills are actually pretty good - but he always does everything he can to keep her safe from the things she may not think about. Gran Gran had made him promise to watch over her on their journey and Sokka would never break a promise.
****
Katara does not appreciate Sokka's attempts to 'coach' her in water bending. Sokka doesn't care. He just wants his sister to grow stronger in her skills.
*****
Sokka knows he can't protect his sister forever, but he likes to think he can try. For now he can at least attempt to intimidate any boy that tries to get close to her.
[Five ways Ichigo expresses his love for Rukia]
1) Not kicking her out of his closet
There were two reasons Ichigo let Rukia stay in the closet all those months ago. The first was that he was happy to see her stay safe while in this world. The other? Well, he was slightly afraid to see what would happen if he ever tried to kick her out.
2) Opening her juice
Rukia knew damn-well how to open the juice boxes by now, but all it took was one warning look (and that blasted fake laughter) and he grudginly stuck the straw through the carton for her.
3) Allowing the random Chappy merchandise
Ichigo's closet had somehow turned into a shrine to the deformed rabbit. There were mugs, posters, gashapon (and was that manga?) cluttered within the small space. It was oddly amusing in a way.
4) Replacing her art supplies
As much as the diagrams annoyed him, Ichigo had to admit the 'art' kept Rukia happy. Whenever the markers began to dry out, Ichigo would replace them the next day. Mostly because he knew Rukia would no doubt pester him until it happened anyway.
5) Staying with his family
His father is insane but Ichigo figures Rukia would appreaciate that.
-
[Five ways Rukia kicks Ichigo's butt]
*
Ichigo laughs at her drawings, but Rukia barely bats an eye. Instead, a knowing grin forms as she ponders what to draw on his face as he sleeps.
**
Laughing at Chappy was the final straw. Rukia made sure Ichigo knew why she had been one of the best kidou users in her academy days.
***
The first time she unleashes Shirayuki in front of Ichigo, Rukia is startled to see the look of shock on his face. Was that actually jealousy?
****
Ichigo is a fast learner. Rukia doesn't even have to threaten him to open her juice anymore. Now she just threatens him for fun.
*****
Rukia nonchalantly mentions various training moves to Isshin, excited to see how Ichigo reacts to the new wake up calls. It's one of the highlights of her morning after all.

**
Orihime knows that Ichigo is a hero. Even if she had not seen it with her own eyes, she will never doubt the raw power that lurks within him.
***
Ichigo still thinks about his mother. Orihime has seen the way his eyes soften whnever he nears that place and she wishes that one day the pain will be healed.
****
Despite the fact that Ichigo never gives up, Orihime has seen the doubt in his eyes.
*****
Orihime knows Ichigo will never return her feelings. She's known him for quite a few years and he's never looked at her in the one way she dreams of.
[Five things Uo-chan would do for Kureno's birthday]
Let's say this all happens on the same day and it just happens to be Kureno's birthday, XD
1) Bake a cake
It's cliche and stupid and so very not her style, but Arisa likes to think that a cake would be a nice surprise. And even if she isn't the greatest cook, Kureno would probably (pretend to) enjoy every bite.
2) Spend the day together
There is not one thing that comes to mind when she thinks of an appropriate present. A small, embrassed smile appears on her face when Arisa wonders if it would be ok to just spend the day in his company.
3) Smile
It would be wonderful to talk to Kureno once more, possibly even get to know more about him. No other person had ever made her feel so positively giddy and girly. Arisa knows that if she ever sees him again, her smile would be almost permanent.
4) Laugh
A blush (how embrassing) finds it's way upon her face and Arisa laughs at the craziness of it all. She wants nothing more than to see Kureno once more and yet she wants to yell and scream and curse him for hurting her (even if he doesn't realize it). But she thinks it would possibly hurt more to try and forget.
5) Cry
A tear falls down her cheek and Arisa angrily wipes it away. 'What if's and 'maybe's dance through her mind, but she's almost given up on seeing Kureno again. When a pair of arms suddenly circles her waist, she angrily elbows the offending person, turning to find a stunned Kureno. Wordlessly, she hugs him tightly, hoping it's not her imagination.

[5 Reasons why you should purchase a whole army of Bonta-kun's from Sousuke]
*

**
Mao threw a beer can at Sousuke's head in an attempt to distract him, but Sousuke was adamant. She finally gave in just to make him shut up.
***
Sousuke stared at Captain Testharossa as she tugged on the end of her braid in nervousness. Stuttering a bit, she finally agreed to research the Bonta-kun army idea.
****
Kyouko eagerly bought an army of Bonta-kuns in exchange for photographs. Capturing pictures of Kaname rushing after Sousuke had just been icing on the cake.
*****
The student body had to admit that the Bonta-kuns were a huge hit at the cultural festival.

[5 things Sousuke would never say to Kaname ]
* (You're pretty)
Sousuke once told Mao that Kaname was 'very easy on the eyes' when asked what he thought of his charge.
** (I miss you when you're not there)
Sousuke finds he misses Kaname whenever he is away from her. Even something as simple as going their seperate ways each night becomes tougher as the days pass.
*** (Why do you look at me like that?)
There are times when Sousuke finds Kaname giving him the strangest looks. She is not quite glaring, nor is she smiling. He has no clue what to make of this look, but he hopes to see more of it in the future.
**** (I enjoy your company)
Kaname's laughter makes Sousuke consider smiling.
***** (?)
Sousuke knows the basic information about Kaname. Her file had various details concerning vitals, statistics, and other ordinary information. The more time Sousuke spent with Kaname, the more he began to wonder about the things that weren't in the file.
[Five reasons Inu-Yasha can never see Kikyo in Kagome]
*
Kagome is a very bright, cheerful person. When she gets mad, she yells and sometimes things are thrown. Kagome has a temper. Kikyou was always calm and collected. When she was pushed past her limits, there was a subtle change; eyes narrowed and stance rigid, Inuyasha knew better than to press her.
*
Kikyou had never shown as much skin as Kagome. Inuyasha was still slightly scandalized to see Kagome in such odd clothing.
*
Kagome said 'osuwari,' something which sent him face first into the ground. Inuyasha wasn't sure if it was better than being pinned to a tree trunk (unable to escape) for days or not.
*
He could sit on the hill for hours with Kikyou, saying nothing but listening to everything. It was hard to relax around the miko, but Inuyasha found his defenses lowering a little bit day by day. With Kagome, he had no trouble expressing what he felt - usually anger or irriation - but it never came out right.
*
Kagome's hair bounced with each step she took, swinging back and forth as she turned towards Shippou and Sango every few moments. Kikyou's hair had always been bound behind her. They may have borne a passing resemblence, but Inuyasha was quick to see the differences.

[Five things Sango wishes she could tell Miroku]
1) Childhood memories
Sango wishes she could share pieces of her past with Miroku, but it undoubtedly brings up painful moments she would rather forget. One day she hopes to tell him about her father; the way he trained her just so, the patient smile that was forever etched in her memory, and most of all, the fact that he would have liked Miroku.
2) Insecurites
Sango wonders just what Miroku sees in her. Battle scars, simple dress, calloused hands; all she sees are her own faults. Miroku looks at her with a gaze she can't quite decipher and it scares her at times.
3) Confession
She doesn't hate him. If Sango were pressed to admit the truth (most likely in the form of Kagome's endless questions) she might even say that she enjoyed Miroku's presence.
4) Faith
Despite his wandering eyes, Sango knows Miroku will keep his promise in the end. He can be an honorable man despite his somewhat perverted habits.
5) Confession 2
A warrior she may be, but Sango is always grateful to find Miroku at her side during battles.

5 more ways Naraku can make everyone's lives miserable]
*
Naraku has pondered creating more underlings. One can never have too many minions to do the dirty work. It's a real shame most of them keep dying off.
**
The idea has occurred to him a number of times. Returning to the form of a spider and biting every single person that opposes him.
***
Before he had killed Kagura, she often asked why he didn't just kill them when they were busy making speeches. The idea is very tempting.
****
Hiding away has worked so far. He continues to be evil without actually lifting a finger. Why spoil a classic?
*****
When all else fails, send out a random demon to distract the hero.
-
[Five things Sango reminds herself every day]
*

The problem is that her heart and her mind rarely agree.
**
Miroku often tests her patience, but there are days when he is one of the fews things in this world that keeps her sane.
***
Her father taught her well. With each swing of the Hirakotsu, Sango is determined to keep the legacy of the taijiya alive.
****
It's ok to laugh. Sometimes Sango can be too serious, too demanding, too unyeilding. She has been that way since she was a child. Kagome often reminds her relax, sharing a silly story or distracting her from her racing thoughts.
*****
Nothing in life is certain. As a child, Sango had dreamed of becoming the best fighter in the village. It had never occurred to her that she may one day be the only fighter left.

*
Rin knocks Jaken over in her haste to greet him and Sesshoumaru wonders if the girl has spent too much time in his presence.
**
There is not a day when Rin won't find a flower or a butterfly or even a weed that she can find the beauty in. It makes the day just a little brighter.
***
The small girl would do anything to keep her 'family' safe. Sesshoumaru admires her persistance.
****
The trees, the sky, Jaken's staff, even a blade of grass - they all got to hear a song specially composed for them.
*****
Rin has never shown an ounce of fear in him since she has begun travelling with them. It gives Sesshoumaru an odd feeling of lightness. It's not especially bad, though he doesn't want to become used to it.

Takumi scares her with his intense gaze and innocent smile. He's been through so much with his illness and yet he would most likely be shocked to know half of the things she had done in her lifetime.
**
Akira has no siblings of her own, but she sees the way Mai dotes on Takumi and wonders what it would be like to be a part of their family. A blush stains her cheeks and she shakes her head quickly to rid herself of embrassing thoughts.
***
Takumi has learned many things from Mai, but the cooking is nowhere near as...edible. But Akira will never tell him because she would hate to see the look of dissapointment on his face.

[5 things Rogue has never told Bobby]
*
When your natural powers do not having anything to do with water of any sort, ice burn is a bitch. Bobby may have discovered a way to touch her without actually touching her, but it wasn't the most pleasant sensation.
*
The look in Bobby's eyes scares her sometimes. She can see so much longing in that gaze that it overwhelms her. Rogue has never wanted anyone to get so close to her again after what happened to Cody, but she knows it's too late to do anything about Bobby.
*
Kitty is just a passing flirtation, nothing more than a harmless schoolgirl crush or an older brother figure. Rogue tries to tell herself that it's nothing, it's all in her imagination, but that lingering doubt in the back of her mind refuses to go away.
*
Even after Rogue could touch, she was skittish. She tried to act normal around Bobby, but it was instinct to shy away from his touch; a habit to avoid his caress. He hadn't caught on so far, but Rogue worried that she would unintentionally hurt him if this continued.
*
The first time Bobby kissed her without icing up, Rogue nearly pushed him away in fear. Bobby mistook it for her hands clutching his shirt and she has yet to tell him the truth.
