Summary:
She studies him as she delivers the well prepared speech. With a flip of her fan, Kakunojo passes the introduction on to the next person, her eyes wandering back to the strange man who saved the children. He seems tense, ready to spring at any of them should they make any suspicious moves.
Perhaps it is simply curiousity, but she wonders what what sort of voice he has. Years of training with the troupe have given her many odd quirks, though her fascination with sound has most likely come from years of training her own voice for the stage.
His eyes meet hers and Kakunojo cannot look away. She notices the flash of irritation, but it doesn't offend her in the slightest. He is still wary of them after all.
Offering a tentative smile, she finds herself even more enthralled by this strange man.
