November Begins
Why is it that food comforts me? I'm so, so sick right now so I feed my cold. It's so odd.
Anyways, Halloween was this weekend. Ethan and I went to a party on Sat. night and then took the kids trick-or-treating on Sun. night in my parents' neighborhood. Scarlett was pretty nervous. She didn't want to see anything scary and was actually shying away from Phoenix's Darth Vader costume.
Today marks the first day of November. Last year, a couple friends on Facebook posted things that they were thankful for every day until Thanksgiving. I think that's a fun idea so I decided to do that as well - but here in LiveJournal.
Day 1: I am thankful for tomorrows and being able to try again when today hasn't been too productive.
I am so sick that I only accomplished a handful or items on my to-do list. I did accomplish several things though - all the laundry is washed (just not folded or put away) but tomorrow is a new day. I am going to get more done and am going to not eat everything in sight right before bed when really all I wanted was a small snack (ugh, my tummy...) and I am going to blog again. Yes, yes I will.
