Day 107 - Crazy Blogger

Apr 17, 2010 23:52

Today I was a crazy blogger and tweeter. I am really trying to get my name out there, in hopes that I will, one day, be an author and all these people will already know my name and buy my book. I know that the best way to get followers on my blog is to read and comment on other peoples blogs, so that’s what I’ve been doing. A lot.

Ethan went to the baseball game tonight, he left right before a giant lightning storm started. It was amazing but not too loud so it didn’t scare the kids - which is a bonus.

I am not going to get my homework finished this weekend, since I lost two days last week. Plus, when Ethan’s away, it makes it really difficult to get a lot of work done. It’s much easier to read a blog here and post on twitter there because I normally get 10-minute spurts with the kids.

I also had to put both the kids to bed on my own today. Phoenix is so attached to Ethan and so set in his routine that, sometimes, it can be difficult to get him to switch. But tonight, I made him a deal. Well, I made both the kids a deal - either we could all take a nice warm bath in the new jacuzzi tub or we could read books and do the normal bedtime routine. Both kids picked the tub. So, armed with hot tub like water, coconut oil, lavender oil, hot wheels and a washcloth, we hoped in the bath for about a half-an-hour.

The great thing about hot lavender baths is kids go to sleep very easily afterward (plus your skin and hair is super nice).
