Day 76 - Did the Western Washington Loop

Mar 17, 2010 23:59

Today I took Scarley to a doctor’s appointment for this weird rash she has. I drove east on I-90, then south on Hwy-18. After the appointment I went west on SR-516, north on Hwy-167 merging onto I-405 and then east again on I-90. It was a giant loop. Tour de south Puget Sound.

So, at Scarley’s appt, the Dr. could not figure-out what her rash was. They said it doesn’t fit with anything and it might just be one of those weird kids viruses that’ll go away on it’s own. I’m to put steroid cream on it twice a day to see if that makes a difference and bring her back if it gets worse or she starts showing any other symptoms. Right now, it doesn’t seem to bother her at all, so that’s good.

I just finished organizing the bathroom. I still have to do my make-up vanity area but I’m pretty tired now so I’ll do it tomorrow. Earlier I was feeling pretty down about being hypermobile. I just feel like my life will never be normal again. I miss yoga. I miss running. I miss not being tired and hurting.

Today is St. Patrick’s Day, which means it’s also the 9th anniversary of my grandma Doherty’s death. She wanted to be Irish so bad that she died on St. Patty’s. She was a odd one, but I miss her. She was so much fun and she would have loved Ethan and the kids. I’m sad they never even got to meet her.
