Changmin walks down the crowded hallway, pushing and shoving through the mass. It's five minutes past eleven and the students are rushing for their next class but he takes his time and weaves past them slowly. The noisy chatter is tuned out as static in the back of his mind as he makes his way to his locker, placing one foot in front of the other (one, two, three, and then repeat). Then he appears, amidst the swarm of people, standing out in Changmin’s vision, in color instead of black and white. His heart races wildly and his palms are sweaty (Should I say hi? Or maybe he won’t see me…) and Changmin turns away.
“Hi, Changmin,” he says, lop-sided grin and a wave.
Changmin forgets to breathe for a second and is at a loss for words. “H-Hi, Yunho!” came out as too-high and excited but he doesn’t seem to notice. He walks away after a ‘see you later’ and the moment is over.
A smile tugs at the corner of Changmin’s lips and his heart is fluttering.
