Duceppe totally kneecapped him. ("I would like to congratulate Mr. Harper on answering a question from a citizen for the first time in this campaign.") Ouch!

Anybody else think that everybody attacking Harper at once is making Harper look good?

Thus far this campaign has been rather lousy for the tories, but he does really well when he's on defense like this and it makes him look stronger.

Yes, I agree. Harper is doing a very good job of getting his message out, and everyone else looks bad for dogpiling him.

I can't help but wonder why Harper doesn't talk issues more often. He's good at it. The fluffy bunny bubble campaign is just terrible. Tonight he looks more like a credible leader.

What is Stephen Harper looking at? Most of the other leaders seem to be looking at one another, but he seems to be looking vaguely towards but beneath the camera. I'm finding it really distracting.

Also, no one seems to be sticking to the question very well.

The angle they just showed on Jack Layton made it look like he was looking at Iggy kind of skewed. I think the cameras are off to the sides so they don't look like they're looking at anybody in particular. Maybe it's the moderator.
