Looks like Harper will lose his case against the Liberals.

Except where the expert says otherwise. The important bits have been confirmed as authentic, the rest is gravy.

In court, perhaps. I'd be more concerend with public opinion.

Losing a libel suit is a setback. Going down in flames as a corrupt PM who tried to bribe one of Canada's most popular politicians then lied about it isn't something you just live down.

The important bits haven't been altered. I don't think people particularly care about the rest: Harper has said--as confirmed by an expert his party arranged and paid for--that he knew they tried to bribe Cadman.

All it says is that at one point after the minute and a half in question, the tape was rewound and recorded again.

There's very little that could have changed, and isn't what Harper was claiming, anyway.
