He's 51, which is not old to be a political leader, especially by Liberal standards he's a youth leader (Martin elected leader at 64, Chrtein in late 50's). I suspect that he will be along for a while if he doesn't implode Stockwell Day style.

Agreed that he's likely to be a placeholder leader. Nonetheless it's an important job.

I actually knew that. I'm a French teacher who is suffering from a baby who sleeps in two-hour chunks, all the time, and it's doing awful things to my grammatical/spelling skills in two languages.

I alternate between consoling myself and congratulating myself. On the one hand, she's beautiful and smart and well-behaved other than at night; on the other hand, I'm getting tired of mombiehood.

It went well I feel, as best as the options were. Placeholders can get stuff done, regardless of how short their stay is.
