I love the CBC, the do this wonderfull thing with issies that are important in the media where they collect all the facts they can and put them all together for your easy reading pleasure. Now you can argue the CBC is biased or don't know what thier talking aobut but I hold them in pretty high regard. In anycase here is the "in depth" on the bombing of the UN post. I am giving this link because there has been a lot of differing opinions on certain facts people saying "Oh i heard in the news that it was one bomb" "Oh well I heard it was 10" and so on. So here you go.

and for those of you too lazy to read it yourseves I'll quote a couple parts I found particularly interesting.

"The accounts vary slightly. But most say the base and its immediate area were hit 21 times. At least 11 of these were aerial bombardments and four were direct hits, including a large laser-guided bomb loosed from an aircraft straight into the bunker."

"On the day in question, however, the UN stressed there were no Hezbollah spotted within at least a kilometre of the Khiyam post. Though that is not a great distance to cover in a pick-up truck full of small rockets. "

I'd also like to add that the UN is now pulling out its unarmed observers. You can read what you want into that.
