VOTEVOTEVOTE

I realize that most people in this community will probably be heading to the polling stations on election day. Well if you are able to yet :) I think that it's very important people vote this year. Moreso, I think people are doing something that is quite bad.

We are labeling eachother unfairly. I personally don't consider anyone to be right wing or left wing. This is up for endless debate. People never really can be labeled correctly as we all vary and change our allegiances over time and over different issues. I have been labeled a left wing communist myself and although I dispute such claims my beliefs and ideology clearly tend to swing to the left.

However this does not mean that I cannot understand the perspective of a hardcore right wing conservative. I think it's exceptionally important to consider all sides of a matter before forming an opinion and although some people don't believe that is what i do, this is the truth. The MOST IMPORTANT issue I think we are facing in this new world is a lack of communication. People shooting allegations at either side when they have to realize that all the candidates are the same. They will probably all break their promises, they probably would all do something worthwhile. All of them will do their fair share of useless arguing and inefficient government expansion or spending. Or they'll do the opposite and cut essential services even further to the breaking point while giving huge corporate tax cuts. It's all crap in the end. It's all useless.

I suppose that I'm rambling quite a bit here so I'll try to wrap up. My point is that we have to all vote. We have to make our voices heard. We have to make sure that a government isn't elected with 20% of the popular vote. No matter who you are thinking of voting for you must ensure that you vote for the person that is going to listen to the people. The one who genuinely cares about the community and will do good things. Don't vote NDP because you hate the liberals and conservatives. Don't vote conservative because you hate the liberals. They're all the same bag of garbage. The people to vote for are the ones who will speak up for what their constituency believes in. It's up to us to become more involved. It's up to the people to make our voices be heard. This is their JOB, to listen to US. :)

Also! Make sure everyone you know votes this election! If you hate them all, decline your vote, because they have to count that. It's important too. :) Thanks!
