Why a Tory win might spell trouble in the U.S. ... National Post
Far be it for the National Post to report good news about the Liberals. ;)This article was actually pretty flattering about Mr. Harper and his chances as the new PM. But it brought up some interesting questions. While Harper and Bush might share ideas, there's a possibility that the Bush regime will end in November. I personally believe that Canada's reputation in the international community have not been damaged. Maybe to the Americans, and maybe that is the only relationship in the international community that should matter. Has it really been that bad?
So while everyone here has been talking about relations with the Americans, why not streamline things a bit and try to imagine how this might actually play out.
