So, Avatar: The Last Airbender. The water tribes live at the North and South Poles. You know what that means? It means they're above or below their world's arctic circle, where day and night take an entire year to cycle. Sokka even talks about "midnight sun madness" in an early episode.
And yet when they're at the North Pole, characters repeatedly have meetings at sunset and sunrise, and the invading Fire Nation navy stops fighting at sunset with the intention of resuming battle the next day after sunrise. Sunrise is a major deciding factor in Zuko's battle with Katara. It's abundantly clear that day and night cycle in twenty-four hours.
