ABC Premieres/Coming of October
Well, here are my short comments on ABC's Premiere week:
Dancing with the Stars: Loved. Didn't think I would care much for it this season but I'm already a big fan of Sabrina, Helio, Jennie and Albert. Glad Josie was first out, anyways; she wasn't that great.
Boston Legal: Whawhawhat? Brad's with the DA? Denise is away? Where's Clarence's girlfriend? John LaRhowever you spell it seems like a good fit, and as always, Spader and Shatner rock the house.
Private Practice: It was alright. Not WOW, but watchable. At least Chief Webber appeared in her show for one minute. More than I can say for her other show...
Dirty Sexy Money: I'll watch for Peter Krause (Sports Night) and because one of my soap actors (Trevor St. John from One Life to Live) was playing his dad, and I love TSJ.
Ugly Betty: SNIFF! Last year, I could only watch this show online, and I still have to, but DAMN! Let's just say I was crushed at the end -- I believed every second of Hilda and Santos and was so happy to see that he had survived...
It's a very good, well done show. I think that Marc and Amanda are this generation's Jack and Karen -- they are hilarious to watch!
Grey's Anatomy: Firstly, they address Burke's leave, but I didn't hear word one about Addison. Did I miss something, or did they not address it at all? The rest was okay...I guess their whole speel on 'everything changes, adapt or be left behind' kinda rings true, huh? I'll probably see it through, but I miss the past seasons.
Big Shots: Entertaining; I liked it very much. Will watch for Michael Vartan (Alias!) and Joshua Malina (again -- Sports Night).
Seeing Krause and Malina made me miss Sports Night and Josh Charles. Oh, I loved Dan, he was my favorite. I really miss that show. Hence, the icon. <333
As for October, I'm super excited, for many reasons. Mainly, it's just my month: football, fall, autumn leaves, colors, the smells, Halloween, cooler weather, sweaters, jeans, boots, scarves...I just love everything about it.
Also, it means that I'm four weeks away from my first school break. I spent five hours at school today, trying to get things ready for next week. My plan is to go in tomorrow and decorate a bit, try to plan a few fun things.
And I get to wear my orange hair extensions! Yay!
