The one source for any of these dates that I see listed in the lexicon is the quote from POA: "It took them the best part of three years to work out how to do it." [how to become animagi] and "Finally, in our fifth year, they managed it."
Are you aware of any other sources for dates (or even just years) for any of these events? My own math gave me a very broad range of dates for each of these events, so I wondered if I was missing something that led the lexicon to narrow down the dates as much as it did.
