I really wish this weather would let up.. I got used to the idea of a mild September and this is harshing my mellow.

Not too much afoot.

Let's see...

If ever you need to escape the heat, you are welcome down to our neck of the woods. I know this weekend, I did not leave the confines of our air-conditioned place, except to do some massive grocery shopping. And, of course, there's always food in that deal too. :)

I often find I get depressed when I feel I'm not getting anywhre in my life, or making any huge advancements. If I'm in a job and I feel like I'm getting "stuck" in a position and I know I could be used in much better ways, I tend to get into a real funk. Guess I'm just programmed to be a "productive member of society"...Who knew?! I always thought I was destined to be a sloth of the earth, but...I guess you take what you can get...

I would suggest temp agencies for work. You get paid weekly, and while you don't get health benefits and such for a while, depending on which one you work for, you can pretty much work for as much or as little as you like. The paid weekly thing is a definitely plus in my book. If you're good on the phone, or personable, which you are both, you shouldn't have any really hard time getting placed. You could also see if that place, Perryman & Kroll that Dj used to work for is hiring. They hire through temp agencies too, I believe. Dj loved that job. It was simple and paid pretty good for what he did. Might want to look into that...Of course...we will be needing a new receptionist here come Oct...Wanna move? ;)
