NEXT MONTH:
With the rewrite of reality looming and the threat of the supernatural only barely hidden from public knowledge, things are already tough enough. Of course, life is never that easy for ITSEES and the others. There will be a post going up very soon that will prompt the characters to call a phone number, and make a wish.
The wish can be pretty much anything that effects themselves and maybe a few others, and it will happen. If your character’s wish dramatically effects another player’s character, we ask that you get permission for the change. The change will be temporary, unfortunately, so, don’t get too attached to things being different.
This, of course, comes with a bit of a catch. While people tied to the wish might not notice things being different, those who aren’t will. And when the lie is exposed for what it is, (though it’s probably going to take some serious arguing to get people to remember how things should be) your character’s bargain gets forcibly revoked, and becomes a Joker. Jokers are akin to Shadows, but rather than being your character’s issues blown out of proportion, it’s your character with an extra heavy dose of evil. The chalk white skin, yellow eyes, and maniac grin are just icing on the Faustian cake.
How does one deal with Jokers, you might ask? Violently. Mod [Redacted] will be around to talk to you about your boss-level stats. You also need to talk your friend down, too. The grip this kind of power gets on them might cause them to relapse and then you have another fight. There’s also the complimentary black brand on them, to remember it by....

This plot is available to everyone, but primarily aimed at ITSEES and the various independent summoners and Asura. But don’t worry, other factions, the Agents of Yatagarusu will be receiving a special mission later in the month! Instead, be afraid.
