Updating to avoid deletion
LJ is going to be deleting accounts that haven't been logged into in a few years and have less than a handful of entries. (It's not clear how many entries are required to avoid auto-deletion; this account had only three.)
On the one hand... yay, those dead accounts with nifty names that have never been used will be freed up. On the other... a two-week notice changing a system that's been stable for over a decade is not a lot of time.
