Where'd All The Children Go?
so jeremy called me up on the bored side, asked if i wanted to go down to the ottobar....i asked him who was playing, and he said rocket summer. i was all like, "i dont know...i shouldn't spend the money..." but he told me meggs and katie would be there so i was like, "oh why not?" so he swung by and we took the drive downtown.....
the first band had a bad ass bass player which was cool plus they couldn't keep the guitar in tune...god we know how that feels on stage. steel train reminded me of being back at our lurman show listening to ectopia or whatever one of those other ones was called. rocket summer wasn't bad except for the fact that he was either playing with hidden band members or along with a tape....where were the fucking munchkins singing?!? he did however have confetti cannons which was pretty cool. i had several beers there and had a bood buzz going most of the night so it didn't really matter.......so lets run down the list.....
doing something when we were bored=good
seeing first band=good
seeing steel train=bad
seeing rocket summer=ok
hanging out with meggs and katie=good
cheap door price=good
having alcohol buzz=good
getting only fours of sleep=bad
overall=GOOD
so after my lonely four hours of sleep before early morning work, there were a lot of people coming in today. it seemes everyone was crawling out from underneath a rock today. i told donna and chuck i would probably be getting a second job but not for what purpose. i did really well on tips today as well...yay me!! i feel like be really lazy for the rest of the day......probably watch a movie, maybe office space....but a nap does sound tempting too.....oh so many choices.....
