I haven't posted much about the current federal election, but here goes..
Why the Conservatives Love the “Strategic” Voting Sites
This gives some solid arguments as to why "Strategic Voting" is not based on any real understanding of politics or mathematics.
I believe that the NDP candidate I am voting for will get far less votes than she deserves because she is in a riding just barely won by a Liberal last time. I'm not saying that she would have won without "Strategic Voting" memes but probably far less natural NDP supporters would change their votes to Liberals--a number of my friends included--out of fear that the Conservative will get in.
