Well, my vacation to Montreal was kind of a bust. After being perpetually healthy in my working life, I got a stomach virus or something this first morning after getting there, and I just didn't have much energy or appetite for the next 3 days until I finally gave up and went home. I didn't have that bad of a time, I just hung out a bit and watched a lot of movies.
Indi and I saw a pretty good concert the night we got there, "Frank London's Klezmer Brass All-stars". I didn't realize that it was going to be a fancy dress event so we were the only ones in the whole place not wearing a dress shirt or nice clothes. On the plus side, they gave me student tickets without asking any questions, so it was only $20 instead of $75.
Heh, my kitten keeps making me laugh. She's been really affectionate since I got back last night. Today she keeps clowning around. I was reading and eating porridge and she was sitting on the other side of the couch and purring and looking at me with her eyes wide open. When she stares at you she rocks back and forth a bit and her eyes loll from side to side as if she were drunk. Also, I was playing a game with her and I suddenly lifted up some blanket and she took off running across the room. I threw it over myself and looked out and she was hiding behind the couch and I could see her little head peeking out. Then, when I called her name she came running and jumped into the opening and looked at me in the eyes.
