Heh, this is new.. I got a copyright warning from youtube this morning, after years of having these crappy videos posted.
Basically I had about 5 videos by the only-occasionally-funny defunct Quebec comedy group RBO. I put english subtitles on them and posted them last year. They would get a steady stream of views and comments of all sorts.
But I just got a warning telling me they had been disabled because some generically-named company was prowling and claimed copyright ownership of them.
OK, so I deleted them, but come on-- I put subtitles on them and they were being watched by people all over the world. Heck, the videos weren't even that great, it was just for a laugh that I kept them up. But enjoy your weird crappy provincial ownership of them now--just how exactly are you going to milk any more money out of some stale early-90s joual humour?
