Hamas won a surprise majority in the ol' Palestinian Elections yesterday, eh?
Similar, yet different: A right-wing, religious party trying to appeal to moderates forces out the liberal, yet compromised and corrupt long-dominant (Fateh/Liberals) party, although the population at large hasn't really bought their more reactionary policies.
Maybe Harper will sign on to Hamas as his ol' co-lucky-victors!
