It may seem silly, but I was talking with Lucy about ever-escalating glass sizes in our families over the years, and I decided to measure all the glasses/mugs to compare what used to be the "standard" big/medium/small sizes, and what is considered big/medium/small now. There has been a definite trend towards increasing portion sizes, to the point where the largest glass in the set is a whipping 22.5 cm tall!
