Welcome to what's probably the first and only entry in this journal, and even then mostly because it's maintenance on FFXI, I just got my ass kicked by a giant eel in FF7, and Fire Emblem hasn't finished downloading.
Uh, let's see...
We're debating about server-hopping away from Bismarck when the Xbox 360 comes out. I hear Carbuncle is nice, but everything's up in the air. Not sure I'll go if Boolo won't. It's not so much that I want to go as I want the nonsensical crap going on to stop. I have a few declarations to make at this point as far as HNMing goes, by the way:
People in positions of power tend to become Nazis.
Attendance to raids is over-rated if you'll be bored the whole time, you have more productive things to be doing, and your presence isn't even all that vital.
I can see clearly now how political structures grow into shining bastions of principle, and then mutate into Godzilla and destroy Tokyo.
On a more positive note: When properly motivated, Kerai can start to curse like a sailor! I'm so proud.
Aside from the intricate workings of an online aristocracy and profane WHMs, not much else to report. Oh yeah! I'm still poor, and instead of leveling a craft to 100, I just level a few to 60, thus ensuring that not only will I be poorer longer, but that most of these crafts will have no bearing as a subcraft when I finally do pick up something to 100. Bonecraft 18, you're next!
