I mistook a crow for a kitten. That was so idiotic of me. How can I mistook a damn feline domestica for a baby crow?
Summer is the season for babies or what? The crows had babies. The mynas had babies. Even the cats have had their annoying mewing gramophone. In short, every kind of animal which overpopulates Karachi is having babies in summer.
Summer is a bad season. Period.
The cuteness of the young ones makes up for part of the annoyances. Sadly, I'm not really the type to go "aww" over every cute thing in the world. I prefer having a good laugh over their antics. The crow chicks are more easy to sight than the others. Perhaps because they are more adventurous? Even though most had shed colours around their neck, I still discovered some with grey necks around the place. I don't know whether to love them or underrate them when I see little crows perching on strips of tarmac. As if the traffic isn't already dangerous enough to the pedestrians. *facepalm*
And to think: another two months and these very same crows may just be chasing the shrieking kites around the sky :)
