forms of stupidity (and racism)
ok the first form of stupidity is brought to you by a chick from my work. i said something about anime. she answers "seth off the oc watches anime". nuf said.
the second for of stupidity (and racism) is bought to you by my brother. most of you know my thoughts on my brother. well here is another: noob. you know i use this word sparingly, i mainly use it for myself on WoW. cause hell, i am one. but i never thought my brothers ignorance would include the o rly phenomenon. so this is what happened. pretty much there is a pic of a doctor talking to a lady. the doctor says "you have aids. lol" the lady responds "o rly?" now we all know this is in reference to the o rly owl or just o rly in general. a pic from the internet that parodies internet culture and language. yes we all got that. but my brother in his blatent ignorance and racist behaviour comes up with the idea that because the lady happens to be asian the "o rly" is not in reference to internet language or culture, but instead it is in reference to how stereotypical asians speak. instead of saying "oh really" asians must say "o rly". i honestly dont see the difference, but apparantly if you say "oh really" without an accent then say "o rly" with an asian accent, there is a difference. go figure.
