Are snow storms in the middle of summer supposed to be normal in this place? Especially ones as sudden as that last one... I was trapped in a block of ice for days! I think I'm beginning to rust since it melted. I really hope everyone else had somewhere warm to stay. And weren't alone. There's nothing to do trapped in a block of ice except watch the scenery.
I mean..! Not that there's anything wrong with the scenery! The animals were very fun to watch. I don't know what gorillas and toucans and all that are doing in this area... But I hope I can find some of the squirrels I saw again. They were doing something with some paper, but I couldn't see what it was from where I was frozen. It almost looked like they were drawing something... It sounds silly, but I want to see what it was they were doing.
Um. Anyway... After the ice thawed I was still lost in the woods. Normally when I get lost I just stay put until Brother comes to find me, but I haven't seen him in so long... I hope he's okay. Um. So since I hadn't seen him I decided I'd have to find my own way! Only that didn't really work and I ended up going in circles for a while. It was almost like the forest kept changing to keep me lost, but that's just silly! ...right?
I don't think I'd ever have gotten out if...er... This probably sounds really unbelievable, but there was a
talking plant that pointed me to the camp. It would've been very nice if it hadn't tried to eat me right after that. I just turned around and the next thing I knew it'd nearly swallowed my head! I got it away after a bit of tug of war. I ripped out the ponytail though. I should be able to reattach it later.
At least the plant was telling the truth when it pointed me to the camp. I don't think I've ever been quite so happy to see civilization! I bet there's all kinds of neat summer camp things to do while I'm looking for Brother. It'll be nice to have some fun after all that mess in the woods.
The camp is safer than the woods, right? ...right?
