Igor's Warehouse, Wednesday Morning

Jul 16, 2008 21:10

A single Pi-Rat scampered into Igor's warehouse. It took one look around - taking in the shelves full of jars, some of which glowed and some of which were full of partly grown body parts - and scampered right back out again.

Igor didn't notice (which was really just as well for the rat); he was too busy putting the finishing touches on the machine.

It was an elegant tangle of glass and wire, but if you stared at it long enough, it started to make a sort of sense. Or possibly you went insane and simply thought it made sense.

Either way, Igor was ready for the final test: living creature to living creature. Scraps was already wired to one end of it, patiently waiting for whatever was to come.

"Good boy, Thcrapth." Igor tossed him a bone and decided to work on this week's lesson plan while he waited.

[ooc: just for one, please, and up early for great justicey slowplay!

ETA a wee explanation: So, I made a bit of an oops with where Igor's warehouse was located. Since there's actually nowhere on Apocalypse Avenue for it to be, Igor's desire to live on such an interestingly named street simply confused him a little. Luckily Adah was happy to point out his mistake :D]
