Strange Marketing Decisions

Take two fast food conglomerates.  One comes out with a new product and advertises it a certain way.  You would think that the other would respond with an ad showing the virtues of their product in the same way.  Instead you get something completely different.  I found it funny that it revolves around the Fish sandwiches of the two chains.  It appears that one is touting its quality and the other its value.  One says hey, ours is made out of real fish and in fact only one particular type of fish.  The other says hey, it's some kind of fish, but you can get it cheap and hey watch our funny commercial.  The youtube links follow so you can watch for yourself.

I'm not sure I like the insinuation that hey cheap is better so eat it kind of marketing argument.  That's just me.  I always like to look at marketing mumbo jumbo in commercials and I am usually amused by it all, especially the fine print.
