[Out walking, exploring, not wandering very far from the new flat...and yet...barking? She sees the dog and walks up slowly, trying not to alarm...]

Oh! Well, hello there. Who are you?

[Holding out a hand cautiously, cautiously...it's a strange dog after all, but she misses her own dogs.]

...I don't suppose you're about to talk to me as well? After a marten and a raven, I'm not sure what to expect.

[Wags his tail and indulges a bit, sniffing at her and sitting, offering...a paw. Shake?]

It's rather nice to have a dog's ears to scratch again. It's only been two days and I already miss the lot of them.

Oh, now don't you start too. I like you better when your tail is wagging.
