I can breathe easier now
Two menial events have happened on the Rowling Front in the last few days that have made me smile!
The first one was regarding this Mugglenet editorial. The author is one bright cookie! It gives us yet another clue that His Royal Greasiness is not on Voldemort's side. This 'Dawn' person certainly did her/his homework, as the article is brief, sharp, and well-researched. Basically, it states that Emmeline Vance is NOT dead (as feigned deaths seem to be such a reccuring plot point that I won't be surprised if Kinglsey Shacklebolt is really Tupac Shakur), however, Severus has alot to do with why people don't think she's around anymore, and only he and Ablus (and possibly Kingsley) know why and how. Since there are countless ways and reasons for one to fake death in the wizarding world, it seems plausible (jsut read the article, it's my favourite so far since HB-P's release). Nevertheless, said Dawn-person failed to mention that Emmeline could have taken Polyjuice Potion. Why? Well, what if that wasn't really Wormtail at all, who the Black Sisters saw that night in Spinner's End? What if Voldemort has no clue that Wormtail is hidden (a la Real!Alastor Moody), and it's Emmeline who's helping out/keeping an eye on (I preffer the previous) Severus, and takes Polyjuice Potion whenever Severus has some Death Eater visitors? He's a good actor, after all, so all that rudeness towards RatMan was all an act to prevent the Blacks from assuming that person was anyone but Peter Pettigrew. Either way, one double-agent spy is good, two (especially when one is supposed to be dead), is even better! Besides, the Prince could do with a woman in the house! XP Hey! It's not fair that Lupin's been getting some action! Severus deserves the same!
Anyhow, my second jump for joy is that Young Prongs has been cast! WOOHOO! BRING ON THE ROYAL UNDIES!!! This means that the Orangutans they have making these movies over in Burbank aren't going to leave out my beloved Chapter 28 of Order of the Phoenix. I can't wait to see these kids: ALL OF THEM! All the Marauder-Trivia they need to catch up on for leaving it out of the last two films *HAS* to be included here! So glad they considered this IMPORTANT scene significant enough. Because apparently, such mediocre things as the identities of the authors of the Marauders Map weren't.
