ship to shore
i woke up this morning around 4:30 to get something to drink and jerry springer was all over my monitor. not the best thing to wake up to. not extraordinary, since i fell asleep watching seinfeld on fox, but weird nonetheless.
about 7 hours later (after more sleep), i wondered if my roomate's alarm had not gone off, or if he was just taking a day off work. his alarm didn't go off. our reactions are always priceless when we sleep in rather than doing what we were supposed to. kind of makes you think how scary it is that your actions affect a whole fucking ton of people. either way, he tried to turn it into a day off, but the man cracked the whip and he was calling a cab to work.
the dogs won't hang out in my room when the cat is asleep on the bed.
