Things are okay around here. I was able to pick up my new passport the very same day we requested it, and I also sent my info back to the Treasury department so that they know that I am not currently working here in Mexico. (that way I don't need to declare taxes every so often, even if it's all zeroes...)

The party last night was really good! I had the chance to meet my aunts, uncles and cousins (not all of them, though) and we ate a wonderful mexican meal: home-made foodsies that you can put inside tortillas and roll them into tacos. Needless to say, I missed those bigtime when I was in Holland.
We danced a bit, sang a lot of course (I sang the "Niche song" they make me sing at every meeting, called Si Tu No Estas, by Rosanna) and we all laughed like crazy. We had a wonderful time, it was not until 5 in the morning that we actually went home to sleep. We were very tired, but it was all worth it! We took a few pics that we'll share as soon as possible.

Today we were lazy and woke up late, of course, and later in the afternoon, Jeroen and I drove downtown with my bro to get some new stuff for his computer. They are now busy installing the stuff and getting the computer up and running.

I am not sure if there are any plans for tomorrow, probably not much since grandma is staying with us this weekend. It was nice to see her again, but it's also sad because grandma is really losing track of where she is and who we are. She gets confused about things that happened recently, and she makes up stuff as well. *sigh* She is all shaky too, and falls asleep all of a sudden, even while eating and stuff. As far as we know, there is nothing we can do to help her any further, it's just her age...

Other than that, she greeted me happily and actually recognized me and my husband, I wasn't sure that she'd remember us, but she did so it made me happy.

Anyway! They are showing ice-skating on TV so I will go watch it now.

*huggggggggggggggggs to everyone*

*pinks Hollsah bwwaha* :) Miss ye sistah!

Da Nicherssss.
