I had an awesome day last friday. From the people at the shelter I got some incense sticks and a card, and Jeroen took me shopping to Amsterdam, where I scored a pair of earrings. I used to wear them a lot but stopped for no reason when I came to Holland. I decided to wear them again but most of my earrings have turned black and rusty, so yup, new ones were needed! ;)
I also tried a pair of shoes but they were not comfy enough and I didn't like the way my ankle swam in the huuuge opening, for some reason it felt extremely tight on the tip and veery loose on the ankle, so nah. Decided against it. :P
Then we went for a beer at an irish pub, and closed the evening with dinner at the Mexican restaurant Los Pilones. We really recommend it to anyone who wants to try real mexican cuisine. The menu is not too extensive though, we both think they could add a lot more things LOL, but what they have, is very tasty.
After that we came home and chilled, talked to my parents, watched scary Ghost Adventures episodes heheh, and went to sleep.
All in all, a great day!
Yesterday Jeroen's friends came over and we had a good time. Everyone loved the nachos we prepared as a snack, and people stayed till 2ish, one of them till 4ish. It was a late night, and I hope I won't be falling asleep later on since we are visiting Jeroen's grandma. She also had her b-day a few days ago, so Jeroen and his parents are driving there together. :)
