Today we woke up pretty late, around noon! We had a quick lunchie and then went running for a bit. We managed to break our personal record and we ran the usual 5K but this time in less than 30 minutes, go us!
Next time we're going to be bold brave an daring and attempt and 8K heheh. We'll see how far we get! I assume it'll be about an hour of running, but if we're having a good day I think we can pull it off.
(Today I wasn't having a good day at all, I even had to stop for a short break, but then again we were running faster than usual and I could notice it. But even with my break we still managed to break our record, so yay!)
We came back home, and after a well deserved shower, I sat down on the balcony for a bit, enjoying the warm weather, though it wasn't sunny at all. And then sleepiness hit me like WHOA. I dragged my blankie into the bedroom and even managed to persuade Poes to join me for a nap (all it takes is shaking the blanket a bit, calling his name, and heading into the bedroom, then he knows what mommy's up to ;) I think he really knows what "ga je mee naar bed" means!)
Anyway, we both slept snuggled close together till dinnertime. Neko joined in too, but she doesn't snuggle close like Poes does, but still, it was nice and cozy and gezellig on the bed!
Believe it or not, I am a bit sleepy now so I don't think I'll have any troubles sleeping tonight :)
Lessseee, what else... I am not really looking forward to next week. Several people will be free at work and chances are that I will be on my own on the phone for an afternoon, so I am really dreading that... Really, my job would be so much more awesome if I didn't have to deal with people on the phone, LOL. ;)
I was also requested to swap a day to cover for absent people, so I will be working next friday. I hope that more countries will take a day off on Labour Day and that it won't be too busy on that friday, as we will have to catch up after Queensday here in Holland. It's a national holiday here so we will be having April 30th off. Niiiiiiice!
Oh well, we'll see how it goes! But one thing's for sure, can't wait for next week to be over already, and it hasn't even started yet!
Speaking of Queensday, I think the weather's gonna be sucky, so I don't think we'll do anything interesting that day. The Queen herself will be around in Apeldoorn but I don't care much for the royal family and neither does Jeroen (so you cannot say I am not an integrated foreigner!! Even a Dutchie feels the way I do! ;) ) so we won't bother going to see her wave at people. Traffic's going to be a mess too, I already checked the website of the Gemeente Apeldoorn and there's tons of roadblocks, so it actually sounds like a fun day to stay home LOL. ;)
That's all for now. Hope y'all have a nice week!
